David A. Frank, Investment Adviser Representative, has extensive experience working closely with clients to understand their financial goals and needs to help them develop investment plans across a range of areas. These areas include retirement planning, college planning, estate-advantaged investing, asset management, tax-advantage planning and long-term care planning.
He also has extensive experience advising and educating brokerage and investment clients, as well as the general public, on a variety of investing topics, including:
- Mutual Funds, Stocks and Bonds, and Annuities
- Insurance - Life and Long-Term Care
- Tax-Favored Investments
David holds Series 7 and 63 Securities Registration, as well as Life, Health and Disability Insurance licenses. Prior to joining FFL Investment Services located at First Federal Lakewood in 2001, David held positions as an Investment Representative for Edward Jones and as a New Home Sales Representative for Shorewest and Kopf Builders. He also taught grades 7-12 for 12 years at several school systems, including Avon and Avon Lake.
David is active in providing financial education through branch seminars and participation in Junior Achievement programs through schools in Lorain and Cuyahoga counties. He is involved in the Bay Presbyterian Church Drama program, at the True North Cultural Arts Theater in Sheffield Village, and assisting the Avon Lake High School Drama club with its productions. He has served as a board members for True North Cultural Arts in Sheffield Village and Oberlin Choristers in Oberlin. He has also directed the Avon Lake Youth Basketball program and acted in the Avon Lake Firehouse Theater.
He earned his bachelor's degree in history/secondary education from Grove City College and took post grad classes at Slippery Rock and Westminster Colleges. He is also a Certified Retirement Counselor (CRC®) Professional. David lives in Avon Lake, Ohio with his wife and two children.
